Over the recent months I’ve collaborated with the amazing American artist and psychoanalyst Vanessa Sinclair on a series of cut-ups and readings set to sound/music. We have made several pieces which will now be collected and released in different forms. The first piece has just been released via Vanessa’s & fellow artist Katelan Foisy’s site “Chaos of the Third Mind”, and is called Blood or Hunter’s Moon. You can listen to it right HERE! I hope you enjoy it!
White Stains 2013 flashback
I’m slowly but pretty surely preparing the video documentation of the concert White Stains played together with Genesis Breyer P-Orridge in Gothenburg on June 29th 2013. It was a truly wonderful evening at the jazz club Nefertiti. The concert was part of an ESSWE (European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism) event at Gothenburg University, organised by professor Henrik Bogdan and Chris Giudice. This was the first time White Stains had performed live since 1993, and this evening we were, not unexpectedly, pure Cotton Ferox: Thomas Tibert, Eriq Olin and myself. We called the evening At Gothenburg, in reference to the album we made with Genesis in 1990: At Stockholm. Before Genesis came on stage, I recited the lyrics from the first three White Stains 7″ singles (“The Crowley Colour Trio”), The Energy, The Awareness and The Result, to honour that early and very exciting phase. And as Aleister Crowley’s birthday (October 12th) approached this year, I...
The Imprisoned Sentences edition is now available
The exhibition that was created in tandem with the publication of my novel Mother, Have A Safe Trip consisted of 18 photographs (general images, people and environments that had inspired the book) and 12 enlarged pages from the book. These pages were printed in size A3 (297 x 420 mm) on archival paper in an edition of five numbered and signed copies. The photographs were printed as C-prints in the size 240 x 300 mm in an edition of five numbered and signed copies. The full exhibition set contains all photographs and all prints, constituting copy number 1 of 5. To see the photographs and prints included, please have a look in the EDITIONS section of the Trapart online store. Included with each sale is also a signed copy of the novel.
Great Swedish DVD reviews
Sweden’s most prominent online cultural magazine, Tidningen Kulturen, reviews the DVD releases of Change Itself – An Art Apart: Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and The Mystery of Life – An Art Apart: Gustaf Broms.
