Plethora Magazine: the Moon issue

The latest issue of the Danish art magazine Plethora has just been released. It’s an incredibly beautiful issue (as always!), this time focussed on the Moon. I have a piece in there called Over the Moon, which deals with dark and magical aspects like lycanthropy as a form of male hysteria, Walt Disney & Wernher von Braun, alchemy, and Stanley Kubrick’s own conspiracy about the fake moon landing in 1969. Yes, it’s an expensive magazine, I know, but it’s worth every cent. You can get your copy right HERE!

Switching Mirrors has arrived

Getting a new book from the printers is always an anxious joy. What if something has gone wrong? Something not quite right? Luckily, this doesn’t happen very often, and it certainly hasn’t happened with this most recent Trapart Books offering: Vanessa Sinclair’s Switching Mirrors. Switching Mirrors is an amazing collection of cut-ups and mind-expanding poetry by Vanessa Sinclair. Delving into the unconscious and actively utilising the “third mind” as developed by William S Burroughs and Brion Gysin, Sinclair roams through suggestive vistas of magic, witchcraft, dreams, psychoanalysis, sex and sexuality (and more). Edda Publishing bids farewell

When Fredrik Söderberg and me started Edda Publishing in 2011, we had no idea that we’d publish as many books as we eventually did. And in such a short time span. But we did. However, all good things come to an end, and one has to look to the future with bright and open eyes. As of December 31st 2016, we will terminate our publishing business and close down the site. We would like to thank all of our customers, supporters and all the lovely people we’ve met during many book evenings, releases, lectures and other events. One reason for our intense momentum was absolutely the support we felt from the outside world. It’s been a joy and a pleasure in so many ways. As I so gladly suffer from Publisher’s Disease (apparently incurable) I will carry on publishing stuff via Trapart, and most of you already know that The Fenris Wolf has found a home there. An Interview with Father Black Father Black is a Private Investigator or a Mr Fix-It in the future urban super-embryo called Monstropolis. He is usually a fictional character, but has now come alive temporarily in our own reality. As I’ve written him into a fabric of fiction many times in short stories, I thought it could be interesting to hear what he has to say now that he is on our side of the reality-fence, so to speak.
