Over-consumption, over-population, massive collectivism (including its most brutal and stupid form: monotheism) and an angst-ridden denial through petty consumerist compensations… What a mess! Over the past few decades, hardly any writer has become more prescient and insightful than the German Ernst Jünger (1895-1998).
