I have a month’s worth of inspiring aphorisms in this exciting new book: Satan Calling: 365 Days of Wicked Witticism & Wisdom (Lorcan Black, editor) “This little book of Satanic reflections and affirmations contains wisdom from some of the strongest Warlocks and Sorceresses now occupying this realm of existence. Founded in 1966, Satanism is the original self-help philosophy. It is based on human nature, glorifying our joys and accomplishments, as well as admitting our foibles and failings. WARNING: This book has nothing to do with Christian moralizing, 12-step programs or guilt-based modifications to your life. We emphasize indulgence rather than submitting to an endless litany of judgements and shalt nots. This unassuming tome is your guiding grimoire and your truth. Carry it with you; open it at random and find exactly what you need to hear at this very moment. We whisper—in your nightmares and in fog-shrouded cemeteries, but only to those who are ready to hear...
Up in flames
The world is going up in flames of inevitability; disaster upon disaster signaling the end. Extremists on one hand, and PC babies on the other; yearning erotically for each other. Ragnarök is here. That said, our life is great. We have health, wealth and length of days, and we can choose what we want to do and with whom we wish to associate. Posterboys & girls of Thelema in general and of Liber Oz in particular. We shine in this darkness without caring whether anyone notices. The days of altruism and compassion are long gone; lost in a mist of fake forgiveness and vague future remorse. There is nothing to say to others. Essentially they lost the game because of the imposed inability to leave the mirror. You can only see yourself in the darkness; never in a mirror which some arbitrary authority has placed in front of you. The realisation that some people are inferior and try to feed off of you under an umbrella of past friendships can be a very hard nut to crack, but crack...
Building a sanctuary
The exotic didn’t stay at home after all. It went a-carousing and found two former sanctuaries: bastions of free will in potentia. Unfortunately, these constructions had caved in, and the sun was shining straight into the rubble. Left were only remnants of former glories and their majestic stories. Acolytes had plundered everything, inebriated by talismanic infantilism; stealing, appropriating, scraping, cutting, cracking until they could leave with some fragment of possible inspiration. Eventually, nothing remained. Wherever a beacon station appears, whether in human or other form or shape, someone will come and destroy it all in order to be inspirationally fulfilled somehow. Human destiny carries the potent seeds of its own destruction. If you build a sanctuary, make sure to keep it secret, make it exotic, and then stay at home. Become a Patron!
Sizzlers in the sun
Tanned bodies used to be associated with health, muscular motion, exercise, outdoors activities and a vital way of life. Nowadays, it’s usually the opposite. A tan (especially if it’s artificial) is associated with decadence, decay and death drive; a way to celebrate passivity until the point of scorching, and the longed for cellular changes of inevitability. Fried fat sizzlers… To be seen (or, rather, to be watched) as an affluent pork chop has become the desired norm. The sun is our benefactor, but one that slowly kills its devotees. Without a doubt, solar suicide has to do with the insight that time is actually up for us human bugs. While we wait for the end, let’s play-act that everything’s fine and as it used to be. And yes, the sun is shining. What a beautiful day! Become a Patron!
