Carl Abrahamsson: Tripping the Dark Light Fantastic – Some Notes On Derek Jarman and His Influence Author Carl Abrahamsson talks about his admiration for British filmmaker and occultist Derek Jarman in general and Jarman’s psychedelic super-8 epic ”In the Shadow of the Sun” (1980) specifically. A great review of my book on #AntonLaVey in #ForteanTimes – Five stars! “Abrahamsson’s documentation of a complex personality is a welcome addition to existing biographical material and contextualises his life in a mature and unsensational manner.  Regardless of what one may think of LaVey and his philosophy, he has more than earned his place in the ranks of countercultural mavericks and Abrahamsson celebrates this glorious fact.”  How about you…?
