To bug or not to bug

To be undisturbed is a choice. People only disturb you if you allow them to. So if you don’t like it, just don’t allow it to happen. Or them. Solitude is a precious, precious state of mind. Not for everyone, I’m sure, but definitely for me. The last composition of and on my album ”Reseduction” (2021) deals with it in a meta-programmatic way: ”I was carrying on in the daily bliss Undisturbed, undisturbed” ”Solipsistic Secrecy” is a great concept or motto in this sense. Some synaptics on tempo-spatial residue

Many moons ago, I embarked on psychodramatic journeys together with fellow magicians. We believed we could change the world of the past so that the future of our present time (and beyond) would be somehow different. Brave attempts, I have to say! But how can one ever really discern or find out what’s what in a web so intricate and prone to ultra-subjectivism, linear thinking, and causal comforts? If I focus on a point in time and space that the rational consensus mafia deems ”past” and I (re)enact it with full conviction, determination, and intent in order to change the point in and to its very core for it to bloom in a ”different” way, what are the odds that anyone will even notice? It actually may not be so far out as it seems… I can hide these seemingly ludicrous concepts by wrapping myself in the parallel universes of quantum physics. I can wrap myself in conscious or unconscious history revisionism. I can wrap myself in all the subjective relativity of a postmodern discourse...

Fiction: “Why another park then?” (2003)

[I wrote this short story in 2003, and am happy to have found it again on a dusty hard drive. Enjoy!] I am a man of simple means. I lead a simple life. It is not the result of making virtues out of necessities. I was left some money years ago and it still keeps me afloat, although not enough to float in any particular direction. Occasionally, I let myself be involved with a woman, but I make sure not to lose any sleep over complexities stemming from these kinds of relationships. In that sense, I have made many women disappointed. I have wanted little more than sexual comfort and have hardly reacted when, after a period of seemingly frustrated union, the women in question have expressed their dramatic goodbyes. The most honest relationships I’ve ever had with women, have been with prostitutes. I know I must sound fairly dispassionate...
